A distraught woman cries over the body of her husband, killed by Khmer Rouge soldiers, in Phnom Penh in 1975. Barely a week before the fall of the city, intense fighting broke out across access points to the capital. In this image, the bodies of soldiers who had been killed in a clash along the Mekong River a few kilometers downstream are returned to their families in an area between the Japanese Bridge and the Port of Phnom Penh.
