Roland Neveu

A soldier stands guard as the United States forces pull out of Cambodia in Phnom Penh on April 12, 1975. Since early morning, secret evacuation orders had circulated around the city. Operation Eagle Pull was underway in the Gulf of Thailand, and a wave of helicopters began airlifting Americans and their allies to a waiting aircraft carrier ahead of the fall of Phnom Penh and the arrival of the Khmer Rouge.
